here in north america, we’ve lost some of our textile history and traditions. the fibreshed movement aims to reconnect us with our local production chains and those traditions, and here in canada that means, in part, relearning all the properties and uses for our various sheep breeds. tendrils are delicate and soft and also tough as nails once they’re established, just like the yarn used in this design. softly spun single ply from primarily rambouillet fleeces, natural white and light grey skeins are naturally dyed, and a single skein will knit up a sturdy lace fabric for you to add to your seasonal layers.
