our scavenger friends might get a bad rap, but birds like blue jays and magpies are essential players in a local ecosystem. this pattern gives them a worthy nod of appreciation with the focus of a bespoke feather chart on the back of each hand.

stay warm in cold northern winters with a good wooly pair of colourwork mitts. the floats caught inside will create an extra layer to protect you against biting winds, and using non-superwash woolen spun canadian wool will ensure you have a yarn capable of standing up to the harshest of climates.

yarn: 117 yards (107 metres), 60g of worsted weight yarn (mc) AND 48 yards (44 metres), 25g of worsted weight yarn (cc)
