i wanted a big shawl that was mindless to knit and cozy to wrap up in. i wanted a pattern i could design while spending quality time with people i love. i knit the small sample while taking my first real vacation in eight years with dear ones in toronto, and the large sample at my bay of fundy home when i went back for my poppy’s funeral. forgetery was inspired by the song of the same name, by canadian musician dan mangan. give the redux version a listen.
