foragers need cozy natural socks for all those adventures traipsing through fields and forests and along ditches and riverbanks in search of the perfect harvest. these socks show off the sturdy qualities of the naturally dyed forage sock yarn, spun at long way homestead using prairie-raised corriedale wool. overlapping leaves travel up the sock like vines underfoot, topped off with a lace ribbing that ties the design together beautifully.
one skein of forage sock makes a comfy pair of long socks for an 11 inch foot like mitch’s here, so you can make a pair for much of the family, or try fewer chart repeats for a shorter summer foraging sock!
