fiddleheads are my absolute favourite wild food to forage in the springtime. unfortunately, as any canadian will tell you, springtime in canada is not exactly warm and welcoming. in fact, it often involves random snowstorms, which makes fiddlehead harvesting even trickier. staying warm is essential for springtime foraging, and this shawl, knit in a brilliant gradient of ístex létt-lopi, is large enough to bury your chin in and keep your shoulders cozy.
needles: US 9 (5mm) 24” (60cm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
yarn: 436 yards (400 metres), 200g of worsted weight yarn
