shopping guide - birthday edition
it’s my birthday on wednesday! birthday #2 under quarantine is maybe not so exciting, so i’ve decided to make it exciting with my biggest shop update to date. the shop will be updated at 8am winnipeg time on april 14, 2021. that’s also the official release date for cwtch: finding ritual in the everyday, PLUS the launch of the brand new creative coven community and, just for fun, a new quiz that you can take to find out just what kind of fibre witch you are!
this is my biggest yarn drop to date with 70 sweater lots! it’s a big ‘un, as we say in the east. there are also restocks of healing salve, all-purpose soap bars, purl & hank products, and forager’s lip balm. check out the rainbows of both pasture dk and roots fingering (hover over items in slideshows so you can see more details):

there are soooooo many batches of roots fingering! i had a little extra fun and photographed both my and marina’s favourites. guess which is which?
i just finished off my daydreamer sweater (another blog post to come for that eventually!), which i knit with roots held double with my sweet friend ocean’s halo mohair blend. if you’re looking for a little inspiration on what to knit with your roots haul, here are some recommendations:

if you want to use my yarn for your cwtch projects, each of the cwtch shawls takes 4 skeins of pasture dk. several of my test knitters opted to use pasture dk for their projects, and oh my goodness the results are gorgeous!
